MacBook Pro keeps crashing

Dear CultofMac forumers,

Since a few days my MacBook Pro late 2011 keeps crashing.
Without any warning, not even the Grey crash screen, my screens go black.
However, when the screens are black, my fans keep blowing and my keyboardbacklight goes on.

Recent changes to this MacBook Pro are a memory upgrade and the update of the system.
I have upped my memory from 8GB 1333GHZ DDR3 SO-DIM to 16GB 1333GHZ DDR3 SO-DIMM.
After the crashes I ran the hardware test you can launch after booting up (hold D or alt+D after the chime).
However this didn't return with any errors, even on the long test.
Also I have updated Mac OSX 10.7 to 10.8.1.

No noteworthy changes besides those.

I thought the crash only happened when I was intensively using the cores and the memory (render HD footage), but just now the crash occurred when only using mail, iCal, Spotify, safari and Excel. Which shouldn't result in any problems I guess.

Being in the middle of a deadline, and this MacBook Pro being my main editing system I hope you guys can help me out quickly.

Thanks in advance.

Kinds regards,

W.
